Oquirrh Mtn. Temple dedication experience
Early Sunday morning Ashley and I volunteered to help out with the Oquirrh Mountain Temple dedication. We were in charge of putting all of the slippers in pairs, handing them out, putting them on people's feet, and directing them along. well, after we got all the people in the temple for the first session, we noticed the prophet coming up to the temple, so the youth that were helping, lined up leading to the doors, and President Monson walked right by us. when he was passing by me, he said good morning to us, and I think I was one of the only ones that said it back. so now I can say I talked to the prophet! :) he was about a foot away from me, I want to shake his hand so bad! but it was a very cool opportunity. I must say that he is much taller then I imagined.
